HERE BE THE PRETTIES!
If you are an artist and see an error, please email me and I will fix it!
Reminder, Claims will be Saturday, March 14th at 12pm EST
(US Eastern Standard Time or look up New York City).
- Claims will be first come, first served.
- Authors are allowed to have a proxy, as long as the proxy has all the needed information to make a claim; username, email, prompt number(s).
- Authors are allowed to have up to five choices on the form.
- Please use the blue prompt number found on the lower right-hand side of the art slide, which is the same prompt number found on the top of the following slide with the art's information.
- We will have two rounds of claims for authors that signed up. If any art is still left over after the second round, a third round will open to anyone who would like to claim a prompt.

If that’s the case then mine need to be allowed in, or at least slide #41 (prompt #20) has to be rejected as well.
Fair’s fair & clearly it wasn’t done fairly!

The one that you are attacking is hand-drawn and in a comic book style.
The prompts you submitted were a hand full of unedited photo images boxed together with a border around them. I fail to see how you googling for three images and just boxing them together in a photo app is the same as someone drawing images and then displaying them in a story like a manner.
If you had done any editing, other than color, to the images and then decided to display them in a comic book style, you would have been good. But you only edited maybe and then put a border on it.

And I did respond to you. I don't know what you want me to say from that last email. You cried about not being able to afford photoshop. I get it, but there are other FREE good photo programs out there, such as GIMP. I am sorry I made you cry. I already told you, if you had submitted prompts like you did last year for the J2RB, I would have taken them. The edit you did to the image after I rejected it the first time was not acceptable.
The other image that I think you are upset about, is two images in WIP that were put into the same file for submission. Which is FINE for claims, since they will finish them by posting. I have always taken WIP.

I can’t believe that you had the nerve to bring out something from an email between us to this. I would never do that to you.
You never stated that you would accept a WIP. But, I’m glad to know how you feel about me & my art. Let’s just pray that other artists never find out your true feelings about them or their art.

You are the one that BROUGHT up the emails and my "lack" of response to you. Since you brought it up, IN A PUBLIC FORUM, I answered you.
When asked, I have always accepted them. Normally I state it in the group email I normally put out around submission time. Though this year I did not send it out since I had most of the art well before the deadline. I only sent it out to the few people I was missing. I just checked and you are correct in stating that it wasn't on LiveJournal page. I will rectify that and make sure it is clearly stated in the rules.
I won't even touch that last comment. I'm sorry you are upset and I am sorry this didn't go the way you wanted. I am done with this and would just like to move on.

Yes, you’re right, enough time has been spent on this. Since I’ve decided not to be a part of this challenge, now or in the future, we can happily go our separate ways.
